If an area is classified as being hazardous, a hazardous area verification dossier must be compiled. A hazardous area verification dossier is a live, legal document that demonstrates that your installation complies with the relevant standards set by AS/NZS 60079.
A verification live dossier must be made available to everyone on-site and should be updated as the equipment is inspected, installed or classification changes.
The verification dossier should contain all information required to verify compliance with hazardous area standards. This includes overall site information and details of all electrical equipment installed.
